Just wondering what people tend to use - I have decided I need a change - I hunt in a 3-ring and while it is physically possible to stop him with a decent braking distance, if there was a faller in front of us or a whip cutting across us I might be in bother, I'm strong and he's little but I'd rather have something more immediately effective than end up sawing away at him while standing in my stirrups for 2 minutes....most of them on the yard hunt in a running gag which they seem to find effective so am hoping to try one next week....what do you use?

Cheltenham gag or American gag on S - have both in 5.5" if you want to try.

Dex has been fab in a globe pelham but has started to get used to it so i am switching back to a long shank ported pelham. When that fails then its back to a cheltenham gag. Nod and Jacob go well in kimblewicks. io has a wilkie snaffle but has been a bit "yanky" with it recently so i will try something else. He isnt strong as such but revs up and tries to snatch the reins out of your hand TBH its a little rude..
